Indiana Early Childhood Higher Education Committee

Purpose: The Indiana Early Childhood Higher Education Forum (IECHEF) was formed in 2007 and is comprised of faculty from Indiana colleges and universities that offer early childhood, child development, or family and consumer science degrees in public and private two-year and four-year institutions. The Indiana Early Childhood Higher Education Forum provides an opportunity for faculty to work together across the state to move early childhood education forward as a professional field of practice through: (1) networking; (2) discussing current issues in the field; and (3) actively engaging in public policy conversation and advocacy efforts related to the field of early childhood education and concerns related to early childhood workforce development.
