Programs are provided to strengthen the quality of care and education for all young children and families around the state. Indiana AEYC provides an array of support for early care and education programs and professionals throughout Indiana.

T.E.A.C.H. EARLY
CHILDHOOD® INDIANA

Addressing the issues of under-education, poor compensation and high turnover within the early childhood workforce.
Indiana AEYC has been awarding T.E.A.C.H. Scholarships since 1996.

NON FORMAL
CDA PROJECT

Empowering early childhood educators with greater knowledge and advanced skills to better meet children’s individual needs and enhance the overall quality of care and education.

ON MY
WAY PRE-K

Advocating for access to high-quality Pre-K programs for 4-year-olds from low-income families, so they may have access to high-quality pre-k programs the year before they begin kindergarten.

POWER TO THE PROFESSION

To achieve continuous public investment and drive the mission that all children can benefit from high-quality early childhood education, Power to the Profession, a national collaborative, was launched in 2016. It focuses on a more effective, diverse, prepared, and compensated workforce.
