Workforce
The Early Childhood Workforce Systems Project at INAEYC supports the ECE workforce in Indiana through research-based initiatives designed to bring greater consistency and opportunity for education, career navigation, and professional recognition.
Regionally-based
Workforce Coordinators
Our team supports early childhood professionals in reaching their goals by helping them get connected to the supports they need most to achieve their dreams. We have regionally-based Workforce Coordinators working in your communities to support collaboration and connection to local and statewide opportunities.

What does this look like?
- A Workforce Coordinator might meet with a program leader to discuss their program’s organizational climate and strategies to recruit new employees and retain and recognize their current team of professionals.
- A Workforce Coordinator might work one-on-one with an individual who is interested in advancing their early childhood career. Together, they can identify the key supports available in their community, including partnering with a peer mentor or connecting with professional development opportunities.
- A Workforce Coordinator will stay connected with community trends to identify opportunities to increase and strengthen the workforce through initiatives that will have the greatest impact on their specific region.
- The Workforce Systems team will also continue to provide supports for national accreditation, including financial scholarships, so that high quality programs can be celebrated and recognized on a local, statewide, and national level.
Our team is here to support all who care for, educate, and work on behalf of young children. We’re looking forward to working with you!
